Tim Carter, of http://AsktheBuilder.com, demonstrates how to choose the right shovel for the right job.

Tim is showing us how to choose the right shovel for the job. A round point shovel is a very common shovel, best for cutting through moist soil. A square point shovel is ideal for scooping materials such as sand, or light gravel. There are different types of square point shovels. A square gardening spade allows you to cut into soil. There is also a round shovel, known as a duck billed shovel, used for cutting deep, narrow trenches, for things such as a trench drain. Lastly, don't forget about your gardening spades.
